It seems that the largest lot size atm is 64圆4, and I honestly haven’t tried to change a lot size above that yet (even 64圆4 seems a bit big to me) just in case it might cause compatibility issues.Ī little trick to find out which lot is which when you want to change a certain lot size in your game, by looking at its sizes in the World Files you can guess (if you know the sizes in the game of the lots) which lot is assigned to which LotData. Save the new values and test the size in your game :)

Underneath that you see the LotDataPosition (and Rotation), if you want to change the lots’ position in the world then you can try to change those values (it requires a bit of experimenting as you obviously don’t want to glide the lot out of the world xD) In this case I altered Sylvan’s X (0F) to 40. You can change the X and Z position to alter the size of the lot. In here you will find the information on how big the lot size is and its positions.

When a world’s district has more lots, you will have to find the one you need)Ĭlick on the ObjectManagerLotData and then Edit Items. Search for the World Data file, and then click on Edit Items in the ObjectManagers.Ĭlick on the first ObjectManager string (the last ObjectManager string contains data about objects in the worlds) and then Edit Items (Seeing as Sylvan Glade only has 1 lot, the first one is the one we need to alter in this case. Copy GD_RBH_glade_01 from Program Files(x86) -> Origin Games -> The Sims 4 -> Data -> Shared -> World -> Areas (you can’t edit World Files inside the program files folder, so you have to copy it and alter it in a backup/side folder). In this case I opened Sylvan’s Glade World file, which only contains 1 lot, so it’s easy to find which one it is. Open the World File from which you want to change a lot size from. !MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR WORLD FILES FIRST! The tutorial will continue below the read more cut~ In the same world file you can also alter its position, right now you can see that almost half of the lot is covered by the world props (mountains).

Here’s a test example of the lot size altered to 28x in Sylvan Glade Well, you can’t change lot sizes IN the game, but you can change lot sizes in Sims 4 Studio 😇 And yes, you can freely build on its altered size! Just for secret lots (and non-residential lots) such as the Forgotten Grotto, Sixam, and Sylvan Glade you’ll have to enable the bb.enablefreebuild cheat. To place bigger houses you need to put them on bigger lots.”
